Our controllers include Flash-EPROM to carry the firmware. No direct access or exchange of controller is necessary to upgrade the firmware. Firmware updates can be loaded via the RS-232 C interface of the controller and the serial interface of the PC's (direct connection), via network (RS-485 via cable converter) and also via modem. This occurs with the software called "bootmanager".

The PC software Datalogging Viewer allows the evaluation of data, with a datalogging module (article No. 37699) recorded by a controller.

The datalogging module can be used in the controller TROVIS 5500, WPR3 and SOL3. It records cyclically the essential operation informations (measuring values, rated values, states of inputs and outputs) of the controller.

With the Datalogging Viewer the recording data can be stored away and be loaded again to be able to use a Datalogging module then for other purposes. Cuttings can be shown and the measuring values as a numerical value be registered.

The choice and arrangement of the curves to be indicated, the Skalierung and the colours can be freely configured. Several configurations can be stored and be loaded again.

The PC software 5012Config allows the configuration of the ModBus MBus Gateway as well as the announcement of heat meter data which has read a ModBus MBus Gateway from connected heat meters.

The PC software 55Viewer allows the visualization, service and configuration for controllers capable of communication of the series TROVIS 5500 as well as SOL3 and WPR3.

After occurred communication connection controller type, firmware version and the opposed system code number is read and the connection is switched in the on-line mode. In the upper window part is shown the hydraulic scheme with all data specific for system (measuring values, control signals and outputs). In the lower window part the controller data about different tabs (operation, times of use, holding registers, coils and heat meter data) can be shown.
